FocusPod Canada warranty and product support
Your FocusPod includes a five-year limited warranty on its structure and electrical system. The coverage below is additional to your applicable legal rights.
Who provides the warranty
FocusPod is the trading name of Focus Pods Australia Pty Ltd, registered in Australia under ACN 690 612 590 and ABN 73 690 612 590. Five-year structural and electrical coverage
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal indoor use in accordance with our instructions. Structural coverage includes the aluminium frame and the structural integrity of the wall and roof panel assembly. Electrical coverage includes fans, lighting, control board, dimmer panel, presence sensor, power adapter, socket outlets, USB charging and internal wiring. We address glass damage or defects identified at handover. Loose furniture and accessories are outside this five-year cover; their applicable legal warranties remain.
Start date and transfer
Coverage starts when our installer completes the installation, or on delivery if you arrange installation yourself. It covers the original purchaser and a later owner in Canada if we are notified of the transfer. A repaired or replaced part is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period. Keep your order and handover records.
Repair, replacement and costs
For a covered defect, we arrange repair or replacement of the affected part or pod. If we cannot provide a remedy within a reasonable time, we refund the affected part or pod, subject always to any remedy the law allows you to choose. Replacement parts and their delivery are at our cost. If a part cannot reasonably be fitted by you with our guidance, we arrange a technician at no cost to you. We agree any special access arrangements in advance. We explain and obtain agreement to chargeable work before it begins.
Care and exclusions
This commercial warranty does not cover ordinary wear, accidental or impact damage, misuse, unsuitable cleaning, water or weather exposure, abnormal electrical supply, or faults caused by installation, alteration or relocation contrary to our instructions. It does not cover damage caused by unauthorised electrical changes or unsuitable replacement components. We remain responsible for faults caused by our own installation. Exclusions apply to the affected fault; they do not remove unrelated coverage or mandatory legal rights.
Request support
Contact us promptly with your order reference, model, installation address, description, when the issue began, and relevant photos or video. We aim to reply within two business days. If electrical safety may be affected, stop using the electrical equipment until assessed. Do not commission chargeable repairs without discussing authorisation with us. Prompt reporting helps assessment; it does not shorten a legal claim period.
Your Canadian legal rights
These terms add to your rights under applicable Canadian federal, provincial and territorial law. They do not waive or restrict a legal warranty, cancellation right, refund, remedy or right to bring a claim that cannot lawfully be excluded. For Québec consumers, legal warranties include fitness for normal use, reasonable durability and conformity with the description. A legal remedy may remain available after this commercial warranty ends.
