Toronto and GTA projects need a precise destination
Start with the full receiving address, not simply GTA. A downtown tower, an office in North York or Scarborough, and a workplace in Mississauga, Vaughan or Markham may use different entrances and receiving processes. Identify the loading dock or service entrance separately from the visitor entrance. Where the building uses a freight elevator, provide its reservation rules and operating window, the floor and unit, and a contact who can coordinate access. The delivery plan should follow the actual municipality and postal code.
Street access is separate from permission to enter the building
Toronto’s guidance states that a No Standing restriction prevents stopping to load or unload merchandise while the restriction applies. Do not assume that stopping outside the lobby is an available alternative to a loading dock. Ask the building manager for the approved receiving point and tell us if the unloading route is through a lane, underground service area or another entrance. Share height limits, booking requirements and the current loading instructions so the vehicle and internal movement can be planned together.
Match the pod to the conversations you need to accommodate
A single-person booth is useful when calls interrupt an open office, while a two-person pod suits one-to-one discussion. Solo Plus and Duo share a 1,600 × 1,375 mm exterior footprint but serve different furniture and occupancy needs. Team provides a wider, shallower two-person footprint at 2,300 × 966 mm. For recurring group meetings, compare Meet and Max rather than crowding a smaller model. Check desk use, chair movement, screen position and the door approach with the selected furniture.
Use the full freight-elevator route for the fit check
Measure the elevator door, usable cabin and rated load, then follow the route through the corridor to the pod’s final position. A large elevator can still have a narrow entrance or an awkward turn outside it. Compare the packed components and all additional furniture or cooling packages with that route. Keep room for unpacking and assembly, and confirm floor suitability, ventilation clearance and access to building equipment. A base pod is 2,338 mm high; optional equipment can change the space required.
