A smooth installation starts before the pod arrives. Review the receiving route, final position and responsibilities together.
Check the complete access route
Start at the delivery vehicle and work through every doorway, corridor, corner and lift to the installation area. Compare both package dimensions and the size of the components after unpacking. A package that fits through the entrance may still be too large for the lift or a tight turn.
Prepare the final position
Check floor suitability, level, load capacity, door swing and the manufacturer’s required assembly and ventilation clearances. Keep escape routes and access to building equipment clear. Standard pod height is 2,338 mm; optional cooling may change the total height and service requirements.
Agree the installation scope
The installation scope should name the model and quantity, receiving and unloading arrangements, movement inside, assembly, final checks and packaging removal. Stairs, cranes, out-of-hours work and changes to building services require a separate assessment. Do not assume a freight price includes these tasks.
Power, safety and handover
Confirm the supplied electrical configuration and required connection with your order. Your facilities team should review applicable building and workplace requirements for the specific site. At handover, check door operation, lighting, ventilation, controls and the agreed accessories, then retain the configuration and support records.
