Vancouver, the Lower Mainland and your actual address
A Vancouver project and a project elsewhere in Metro Vancouver can have different receiving arrangements. Supply the municipality, postal code, building name, floor and unit rather than using Vancouver as a catch-all destination. For a downtown office, identify the service entrance and any bookable freight elevator. For a workplace in Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey or the North Shore, use the actual delivery address so the route and access assessment reflect the correct site. A Vancouver Island destination needs its own delivery assessment; it is not the same route as Metro Vancouver.
Plan the loading point before the elevator booking
The City of Vancouver distinguishes commercial loading zones and commercial lanes from ordinary parking. Its guidance requires the appropriate commercial vehicle permit for these areas, and private loading areas have their own rules. Give FocusPod the receiving instructions from your building manager, including the loading location, vehicle clearance and permitted delivery window. A street-side unloading allowance is not an installation booking: the route from the vehicle to the assembly area still needs checking. Confirm current signage and city requirements when scheduling the vehicle.
Choose a phone booth or a meeting pod
For individual calls, start with Solo and its 1,080 × 1,000 mm exterior footprint, or Solo Plus when one person needs more desk space. For two people, compare the deeper Duo with the wider, shallower Team. Meet and Max provide larger meeting layouts. These are indoor workplace pods: compare the usable furniture arrangement, door approach and surrounding circulation before choosing by seat count. Standard ventilation exchanges air with the surrounding room, so include the office environment in the planning.
Check the shipment as well as the finished pod
A room that fits the assembled pod does not prove that the delivery route works. The base Solo package is 2,310 × 570 × 1,270 mm; larger models and optional equipment have different packing requirements. Record elevator door and cabin dimensions, rated load, corridor turns and the space available for unpacking. Pod net weight is not packed shipment weight. Use the approved package schedule for the chosen model, furniture and extras, and confirm any unpacking or component handling before delivery.
